Power
Sensums biology differs from baseline human in a number of ways outside of his appearance, his vision edges into both UV and IR but leaves him green colorblind, his muscles operate differently from a typical human, due to his wiry frame he would be considered conventionally weaker than the average person, but his muscles do not fatigue nearly as easily, and he can lock them and stay still with little issue for long periods of time. Sensum is an emotivore, subsisting entirely on the emotions of others and without need for physical nourishment. He "feeds" through close physical proximity and contact, able to passively take in the current emotions of surrounding people in a 6 foot radius, and directly siphon off specific emotions with physical contact. The "eating" of an emotion leaves that emotion muted in the victim, for a duration and to a degree proportional to how much Sensum has "fed", and the person's original capacity for said emotion. While he gradually drains his reserves just to function, he can also "burn" an emotion of his choice, depleting his stores far more quickly to confer some benefit or effect, though they often have some sort of downside. Should his stores ever be fully depleted, he begins to enter a state similar to human starvation, becoming increasingly desperate and weakened, eventually falling into an animalistic state in which he will hunt down and drain the nearest person to the best of his ability, with no consideration for anything else.
List of effects of burning various emotions:
Happiness/Satisfaction/Amusement/Excitement/Gratitude: aids in recovery, both physical and mental, but induces a state of loopy euphoria for the duration.
Pride/Anticipation/Awe: increases ability to focus on a goal, but gives severe tunnel vision.
Sadness/Envy/Contempt/Jealousy/Boredom: increased awareness of flaws, both physical and mental, but a sense of lethargy.
Fear/Surprise: Boosts situational awareness to a superhuman degree and a boosts physical speed, but extreme jumpiness and trouble differentiating friend from foe.
Disgust/Shame/Anxiety/Embarrassment/Guilt: exudes a stench which induces vomiting and irritation of mucous membranes, it effects him to a lesser degree as well.
Rage/Anger/Frustration: Turns off pain and boosts speed and strength, but clouds thoughts and strains physical body, akin to a berserker rage.
Loneliness: Easier to go unnoticed if people aren't looking for him, but if they are or do single him out it is physically painful.
Trigger type: Coven (C53)
Backstory
Sensum, originally Grimwald Vali, made a deal with coven in order to manage his emotions, which had previously caused serious issues in his career and life, as they were overly intense, swinging from extremes at the drop of a hat. He was dumped in the woods outside of Devilfish following his change, memoryless and beginning to starve, he ventured into town, finding his first meal. He's attempted to keep a low profile, taking up residence in an abandoned shack on the outskirts of town, and only really feeding to subsist as opposed to in excess. Reports and recordings of his feedings have reached the growing local protectorate, and some news has made the rounds.
