Mentality
Arsenal has a massive complex about being remembered. He wants to make a mark on the world, and he’ll absolutely blow up a building to do that. This is a major weakness in his psyche, as implying that he’s forgettable or uninteresting will cause him great distress and anger.
Power
Arsenal is a riddle tinker, meaning he is capable of theoretically creating any type of equipment, but has to follow a certain rule during the creation process. Part of the struggle for him is figuring out what that process is.
Backstory
From a young age, you were told that everyone had a reason for existing, and that everyone found their purpose in time. To you, it was clear that your purpose was only to support your twin. The two of you had what started as a friendly rivalry going, always trying to outdo each other in sports, in school, in video games. Everything.
The trouble was, they were simply better than you. If you got full marks on a test, they got extra credit. If you beat the high score of an arcade cabinet, they would swoop in and outdo you. In time, it began to grate, and you saw everywhere the signs that people just preferred them. Your friends listened more attentively when they spoke, your teachers praised them more, your parents…
Your *parents.* They were always telling you that you should be happy when your sibling did well, that you should be eager to back them up. You realized after a long while that your purpose in life was nothing more than to play second fiddle. Your sibling would become something great, and you would be there as…
Well, the idea didn’t solidify until the accident. A car crash in which you were mercifully unharmed while your twin was in critical condition. They would need a kidney transplant if they were to survive. You were the person with the closest match to them, of course.
You had a big choice to make: save your twin and always just be their support, or let them die so you could shine in the spotlight.
It was an impossible decision. Who could stand to be just spare parts?
